Land sharing between neighbors is helpful, but for those living in apartments, groups may need to form to approach management/owners to see if they can negotiate a "commons" for growing. Also, we might think of a demonstration of container gardening…

How might your current work contribute to the Transition movement?
forming a 5 cities /south county group. work with the homeless, feeding the hungry by trying to access the "extra" food and get it to the Needy. Clothe those that have needs. Provide health care to people with limited or no access to health care.
In what ways do you personally identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?
Have farmed organically ,preserved own food, know how to breed& raise animals.
We need to learn/retain how to sustain not only ourselves but our communities and learn to SHARE with each other again.
What background and skills do you bring to this community?
Medical skills, farming, preservation of food, gardening, raising livestock. Some building skills. Work with farm-workers
What aspects of the Transition Town movement most interests you?
Education,Participation,plan and complete projects.
