Profile Information

How might your current work contribute to the Transition movement?
I am a green contractor specializing in eco plasters & paints. I use only green building products - specifically American Clay Plaster & St. Astier Lime Plaster. The products help you create a beautiful & sacred space for your home, while having a low carbon footprint on the earth. Furthermore, they help insulate and manage moisture levels in your home. Using green building products is a way to transition from the use of toxic chemicals in our homes to something much saner.
In what ways do you personally identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?
I am highly aware of the issues of peak oil and the serious need for change. It is time for us to start living differently.
What background and skills do you bring to this community?
I of course bring green building skills to this community, but also bring knowledge in "Go vegan/raw to save the world!" and knowledge in holistic methodologies of healing, specifically Reiki.
What aspects of the Transition Town movement most interests you?
I would love to be a part of a larger sustainable community where skills are valued and like minded folks are working together towards "a new earth." I am most intrigued at the new local economies that are forming.
