How might your current work contribute to the Transition movement?
Everything Earthy. We are heavily politically active here in Sacramento, CA. We have lobby groups, action groups and non governmental organizations doing community gardening, organic food growers and cooperatives. Lots going on here!
In what ways do you personally identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?
Tomorrow Matters environmental radio program at http://www.KRXA540.com (you can listen online) spoke very highly of your program.
What background and skills do you bring to this community?
Have advanced degrees and teach Earth Sciences and have background as consultant. Environmental and Geologic Hazards. Have lobbied for Sierra Club, Natural Products Association, and testified for AB920 per Jared Huffman Feed in tariffs. See http://www.energyaction.blogspot.com
What aspects of the Transition Town movement most interests you?
Sustainable Eco villages! food, water, energy, recycling, gardening, composting, rain water harvesting.
