Profile Information

How might your current work contribute to the Transition movement?
Wild Sanctuary is dedicated to helping preserve, promote, and protect the natural soundscape. Being aware of the 'creature chorus' of the natural world helps connect us all in new and resonant ways to what little remains of the wild, and encourages more mindful understanding of animal, habitat, and human health and well being.
In what ways do you personally identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?
Bridging the gap between the natural and digital world - to provide bioacoustics to a new audience that may utilize technology easily but yet be increasingly unfamiliar with the natural world - and to help illuminate a path from cyberspace back to the land. Sustainability outreach and environmental advocacy tailored for the 21st Century.
What background and skills do you bring to this community?
Marketing, public relations, and publicity generation specializing in soundscape related issues, products, and services. Also Virtual Exhibit Design, new product development, graphic art, and production.
What aspects of the Transition Town movement most interests you?
Connecting with those who may want to know more about how to support their local soundscape as an on-going part of their sustainable local community plans.
