In what ways do you personally identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?
I'm interested in the intersection between land use policy + practice and public health outcomes --- behavioral, clinical, psychological and quality of life. My interest stems from my professional work and my personal desire to leave this world in a better state for future generations {L'dor v' dor}.
What background and skills do you bring to this community?
Grant writing, quantitative and qualitative research methodology, data analytics, survey development, manuscript preparation, etc.
What aspects of the Transition Town movement most interests you?
The opportunity to connect with passionate people creating local change by cultivating sustainable community gardens and encouraging healthier lifestyles through better access to walkways and bikeways. I'm also very interested in innovative water conservation techniques and freecycling.
